Team Manager, RN
The VITAS team manager is the leader of the patient care team who supervises, evaluates and coordinates the various component members of the interdisciplinary team. On-call rotation required. To qualify for the position, candidates must have experience as a registered nurse and a current state of California RN license. Bachelor's degree preferred.


Admissions Nurse, RN
VITAS admissions nurses are our patients and families' first introduction to the quality end-of-life care that VITAS provides. The admissions nurse's primary responsibility is to present VITAS services and philosophy to patients and families in a manner that results in appropriate hospice admissions. To qualify for the position, candidates must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a registered nurse in acute or sub-acute care and a current state of California RN license.


Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Educator 
The Clinical RN Educator is responsible for providing support for quality assessment and performance improvement activities which includes quality monitoring, evaluation and facilitation of performance improvement projects. Assists with education assessments and activities. Previous experience in a hospice setting is a plus. Must have a current state of California RN license.


Registered Nurse (RN) Case Manager
The VITAS RN case manager is responsible for initiating the appropriate intervention and support for our patients and families and provides a continuously appropriate, comprehensive and responsive plan of care. To qualify for the position, candidates must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a registered nurse and a current state of California RN license.


Hospice Aide (CHHA)
The VITAS hospice aide is a certified home health aide (CHHA) who provides personal care and services to VITAS patients to augment the care given by family members. To qualify for the position, candidates must have a minimum of one (1) year of direct patient care experience and a current certification.


Nurse Practitioner (ARNP)
The Nurse Practitioner performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of physician. ; discusses case with physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of (2) years experience in hospice, home health or community health in the past five (5) year.


Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) 
The VITAS LVN evaluates the needs of patients and families and provides direct skilled bedside nursing care to our patients according to the plan of care under the supervision of a registered nurse. To qualify for the position, candidates must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience and a current state of California LVN license.


Sales Representative 
The VITAS Sales Representative must have the ability to apply a consultative sales approach to educate medical professionals about hospice services; meeting customer needs by providing end of life care solutions to improve quality of patient care. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of two (2) years of sales experience and have participated in team environment that involved individual accountability and team work.


Dietician
The dietician provides nutritional services (including counseling) to persons who are terminally ill and to their families so that the quality of life might be enhanced. Qualified candidates must have two years minimum experience; one of which is in a community health agency with consultant and teaching responsibilities.
